The living space of Calypso Villa is divided into two pavilions. The first pavilion encompasses the villa's great room, featuring an expansive area with soaring cathedral ceilings housing the kitchen, living room, and dining room. The second pavilion comprises three spacious bedrooms, each with its ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, a private outdoor shower, a sitting porch, cable TV, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and a ceiling fan.
Connected by a short interior hallway below the master bedroom are two additional bedrooms. The first features a king-sized bed, a private outdoor shower, a sitting porch, cable TV, air conditioning, and a ceiling fan. The second guest bedroom accommodates two queen-sized beds and a foldaway cot, providing flexibility in sleeping arrangements for two adults or up to four children. Like the other bedrooms, this one is equipped with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and cable TV.

Cancellation Policy
Travelers who cancel during the HOLIDAY SEASON (December 15 – January 5) will not receive any refunds.
90 or more day’s notice provided, 75% of payments made will be refunded.
46-89 days notice provided, 50% of payments made will be refunded.
45 days or less notice, no payment will be refunded.
There will be no refunds for late arrivals or premature departures.

Deposit Policy
VILLAS VIRGIN GORDA requires that 50% of the rent is due at the time you secure your reservation. The balance of the rent is due no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. No-shows, late arrivals, change in number of persons, and early departures after arrival are non-refundable. (See hurricane policy, below.) No refunds will be granted unless there is a problem that cannot be cured within 48 hours, or which causes the Guest extreme and undue discomfort or serious inconvenience. Guests who abandon their villa without authority agree they have no rights to compensation. Prices at all villas are subject to change. No rebates or increases in pricing will be made once the Guest’s deposit payment has been submitted.
HURRICANE POLICY:
In the event of a pending hurricane, all guests MUST vacate their villa when instructed to do so by VILLAS VIRGIN GORDA staff. Guests will only be asked to vacate the property if local officials have deemed it unsafe. If guests are asked to vacate the property; any unused rent will be refunded. If the guests leave on their own volition, no refund of any sort will be given. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to incur any travel related expenses associated with an early departure from the villa whether they leave on their own accord or if asked to do so by the staff of VILLAS VIRGIN GORDA.

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed my stay at Calypso Villa. This was a working vacation for me, and wifi and electricity were a high priority. This villa has fiber wifi and a generator. I was able to work without interruption despite the occasional power outage. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. Housekeeping was thorough. The entire Villas Virgin Gorda staff was warm and welcoming and worked to make my trip a memorable one. Overall service at Calypso Villa was exceptional. Candice was extremely helpful with tips, guidance, and advice during my stay. This trip would not have been successful without her.
"All in All This Villa Is Paradise"
The Villa is lovely. Nestled among the bouganveillas, palms and more tropical foliage. There were roosters in the AM, goats in the hills, and butterfly's all-around our 360 degree views of the surrounding hillside. The Villa is very private, all open to the air (if you choose) except for the very private 3 master suites which we kept closed with AC running to eliminate the no see 'ems and to insure great sleep in the bedrooms with shades on the windows. Bedrooms were laid out on different level and different sides of home, so very nice for couples traveling together. Living spaces and kitchen were were very generous. Pool and patio are on the sunny side of the home for all day enjoyment. As the property is on solar, there can be days when the shower water temperatures can be a bit lukewarm. All in all this Villa is Paradise.
"Calypso villa or paradise?"
We spent 2 weeks at calypso villa and thought we had found paradise on earth. The view of the coastline was everything I hoped for and we spent hours every day just gazing. The design of the house is brilliant. We left the common areas open all the time to the lovely breezes. The pool was lovely and I swam laps each day. We were delighted to find the beach below studded with sea glass and sea feathers. Watching the surf beat the boulders was endlessly fascinating. Not a place to swim but that was okay. We really appreciated the sun screen and bug spray left by previous vacationers. There were a lot of mosquitoes. Christie was wonderful. She was so accessible in preparing for the trip and there when we needed her. The home really had everything, beach towels, toiletries, laundry and cleaning supplies. The island is very quiet and we mostly cooked and ate in. We took a lovely day trip to Tortola on the ferry and hired a tour guide at Beef Island airport. We found Bad Dog fishing charters and had a great day catching wahoo and mahi mahi. We hired a boat and captain for a day of visiting islands and snorkeling with Bradley Boats. We wished we had brought binoculars. The hillside beside the villa is home to a family of goats who serenaded us along with several lusty roosters.
"Heavenly!"
We stayed at Calypso Villa the first week of April 2019. We had rented a different house, but we were informed with 24 hours notice that the house we rented was not ready. I contacted Christi with Villas Virgin Gorda, and she got back to me immediately. She arranged for us to be in Calypso with less than 24 hours notice. When we arrived, we were completely blown away. This house is incredible. It is built from rock and stone- so solid and comfortable. The pool and views are amazing. There was a couple start lush breeze blowing through the house. The house is extremely well appointed with towels, kitchen appliances and spices, seating, common areas, linens, etc. It is just a short drive to the best beaches on the island-the Baths, Devils Bay, Spring Bay, and Big Valley Trunk Bay. Also close to so many great restaurants. The beds were wonderful. Only woke up to the sound of mountain goats and the wind. I was worried about not staying directly on a beach, but the views and the quality of this house were 100% worth it. We had a heavenly week at Calypso Villa. Thank you Villas Virgin Gorda for this last-minute slice of paradise!
"Enjoy comforts of home with beautiful views from your private tropical paradise"
Wonderful property! Comfortable accommodations for a couple upstairs, with another two bedrooms downstairs for more couples or kids. There is also a washer and dryer downstairs, which means you can pack fewer clothes. Open plan kitchen, living room, outdoor lanai with wonderful swimming pool, beautiful views in every direction. Very quiet other than hearing the occasional dog bark or goat bleep, which contributes to the natural ambience. Christie is very helpful both before your trip and when you arrive. I had high expectations of enjoying this property; they were exceeded!

The BVI is open and beautifuL. We stayed at the Calypso Villa a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING! We loved the outdoor living this villa offers. It has beautiful views, beautiful gardens and so much more. It is even better than the pictures. Christi is a great property manager/ hostess. She gave great recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of. If you stay at Calypso may I suggest a massage/couples massage on the master bedroom balcony/porch. Also, one of the best recommendations ChristI gave was a visit to Oil Nut Bay. We spent all day there enjoying the beach, lunch, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. One thing to bring... ear plugs just in case you have a 4 O’clock rooster.... ;o
