Southern Gables is a 3-Bedroom/2-bath on a multi-acre property with lots to explore. Incredible geological features and a wide variety of tropical fauna create a stunning and unique setting.
Southern Gables is located within Virgin Gorda’s exclusive Little Trunk Bay Estates. This classic Caribbean home is comfortably furnished and ideally situated close to beaches, shopping, and restaurants.
This villa is cooled by the island breezes (thus no air conditioning), and floor and ceiling fans are provided.
Southern Gables has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with private outdoor showers all located on a single level. The master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom features a new king mattress, new linens, and vaulted ceilings. The second bedroom has two twin beds or they can be combined to create a King bed. The third bedroom is equipped with a queen bed. The living room features sliding glass doors that open to an expansive covered patio. From the patio, guests can enjoy ocean breezes and picture postcard views. The patio features a variety of seating options including Adirondack furniture, chaise lounges, a dining table and chairs, and a hammock. If you are like most of our guests, you'll spend much of your time enjoying this villa's private and tranquil outdoor spaces.

Both the front and the rear of the house feature giant boulder formations common to this part of the island. A large selection of tropical plants and cacti fill the property with dozens of flowers. The property also has numerous mature fruit trees including mangos and limes.
Southern Gables is just a few minutes walk to Little Trunk Bay. Many of our guests will tell you that this is the best beach on the island. In addition, the beaches at Spring Bay and The Baths are within very close proximity. Factor in this villa's reasonable rates and it is easy to see why repeat visitors have been returning to Southern Gables year after year.
During Low and High Season, a 5-night minimum stay is required. During the Holiday Season, there is a 10-night minimum stay required.
Service fees and Accommodation tax are also collected.

Cancellation Policy
Travelers who cancel during the HOLIDAY SEASON (December 15 – January 5) will not receive any refunds.
90 or more day’s notice provided, 75% of payments made will be refunded.
46-89 days notice provided, 50% of payments made will be refunded.
45 days or less notice, no payment will be refunded.
There will be no refunds for late arrivals or premature departures.

Deposit Policy
VILLAS VIRGIN GORDA requires that 50% of the rent is due at the time you secure your reservation. The balance of the rent is due no later than 45 days prior to your arrival. No-shows, late arrivals, change in number of persons, and early departures after arrival are non-refundable. (See hurricane policy, below.) No refunds will be granted unless there is a problem that cannot be cured within 48 hours, or which causes the Guest extreme and undue discomfort or serious inconvenience. Guests who abandon their villa without authority agree they have no rights to compensation. Prices at all villas are subject to change. No rebates or increases in pricing will be made once the Guest’s deposit payment has been submitted.
HURRICANE POLICY:
In the event of a pending hurricane, all guests MUST vacate their villa when instructed to do so by VILLAS VIRGIN GORDA staff. Guests will only be asked to vacate the property if local officials have deemed it unsafe. If guests are asked to vacate the property; any unused rent will be refunded. If the guests leave on their own volition, no refund of any sort will be given. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to incur any travel related expenses associated with an early departure from the villa whether they leave on their own accord or if asked to do so by the staff of VILLAS VIRGIN GORDA.

"Amazing…"
We absolutely loved our stay in Virgin Gorda and the house was amazing! The location is perfect, it was clean, the beds extremely comfortable, linens pristine, and we weren’t even phased with the no AC! The grounds were phenomenal and our family enjoyed exploring and walking all through the beaches and The Baths! It was a trip of a lifetime and everyone on the island made it super memorable!

People are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Everyone smiles and waves when they pass. Several times when we were walking on the road, people stopped their cars and asked if we were ok. Virgin Gorda in general, and Southern Gables in particular, is our idea of paradise.

Michelle was great! Met us at the ferry station had our rental car ready for pick up and brought us over to property. She was very assessable when we needed her for anything.

We loved everything about it - the location, the natural cooling and open air feel, the beautiful landscaping, the privacy, the hammock, the porch swing - on and on. It really is a classic Caribbean villa. And the view from the porch - photos really can't do it justice. Anyway, please don't change a thing! We have already reserved a week for next year! See you then!
