Irma Update from Villas Virgin Gorda

We are still in the process of evaluating the situation in Virgin Gorda and the state of each villa.  Since Hurricane Irma went through BVI, communication has been severely compromised from Virgin Gorda.  The island is still without power and cell service and only has spotty internet service 7 days after the storm.  From pictures we have seen and reports coming out on Facebook, there is severe damage to the island and incoming travel is currently restricted to humanitarian efforts.  We have seen a few of our villas in pictures and we are encouraged to see some that appear to have weathered the storm very well, but we will not have a full report until communications with the island are reestablished.  As soon as we have more concrete information to provide, we will begin contacting guests with upcoming reservations.  In the meantime, please consider making a donation to the British Red Cross at or to Relief Efforts for Virgin Gorda at or BVI Community Support supported by Virgin Unite at  Virgin Gorda will need a tremendous amount of support to rebound from Irma, even a small donation will go a long way!  Please keep our beautiful island and her people in your thoughts and prayers!

Getting to Virgin Gorda is going to be a whole lot easier and we couldn’t be more pleased. Starting on December 13, 2013, Cape Air airlines will be flying three flights a day between San Juan, Puerto Rico and Virgin Gorda. Cape Air’s code share agreements with other International airlines will enable our guests to check their luggage all the way thru to their final destinations. A press release announcing Cape Air’s daily service between San Juan, Puerto Rico and Virgin Gorda can be found here.
